During last 20 years I worked with many different antivirus software solutions. When I look back there was Panda Antivirus, then Trend-Micro, after them came Kaspersky, Nod32, ClamAV… Then I tried AVG and that was that. For almost 10 years I worked and used it, even my company was their partner and reseller for AVG.
But this year we tried BitDefender antivirus solutions and I must tell you it was surprise. It was such surprise that we even at BS Computer become BitDefender partner.
BitDefender has nice solutions for every segment, from home users, to SOHO and small companies or for big enterprises. Everything is packed in nice packages.
For most small to middle companies I would recommend their solution BitDeffender Small Office Security. In this package you get software for all your computers whatever operating system you use, even for smartphones…
The best thing which bought me was that even in this package you get acces to their portal (BitDefeneder Central), so you can centraly manage all your computers and phones which have installed BitDefender Antivirus. You can track their vulnerability, problems, and even you can track their location in case you loose them or they are stolen (you can lock or wipe these devices so your data on them is safe).
We tested few devices with viruses, cryptoviruses, malware and unsafe/malicious websites – BitDefender Antivirus passed all tests. In some cases I couldn’t belive how it worked nice and saved a day.
When we talk about performance, during these tests from regular users perspective it didn’t slow down device at all. Only thing we noticed is that battery life on smart phone whether it is Android or Apple iPhone is shorter for around 15%.
So generaly my vote for the Best Antivirus in 2020. year my vote goes to BitDefender Antivirus (in my case for BitDefender SmallOffice Security).
At the last I must tell how they are professional. When I ordered my copy of BitDefender Small Office Security on some discount, they didn’t calculate it right on checkout page. I payed this bill because it was also discounted price but not as it was advertised. After I contacted them about this problem, they in short time come to me and asked if I wanted my money back or wanted to extend my license. I accepted offer to extend license and they even extended me license for 30% more then I payed because of their error in system… With this move they bought me, nice business practice guys and thank you very much 🙂
